NADIYA collaborative research on circumstances impacting health in displaced people from Ukraine in the Netherlands

How you can support us?

How are Ukrainian children, adolescents and adults coping with the stress of war, family-separation, migration and adaptation in their new hosting country the Netherlands?

The main objective of the NADIYA study is to investigate what helps alleviate mental health burden and improve well-being.

The focus lies on adult mental health and its relation with parental functioning. Another added value of the research is our focus on the responses of children and adolescents, who are so often overlooked in research.

While we aim to better understand the current situation and mental health of Ukrainians, our research holds potential to benefit all refugee groups and inform refugee policy at large.
